Appears you do not folllow SU and more focused on mines, so not sure how you would know SU is overbought.  I think what is more likely is the market is realizing SU is under valued and share price is catching up to where it should be. If oil price can stabilize over $80, SU share price should continue to do well imo.

RSI is too high; shorts are covering and, after that, it will nose down for a while. Nothing goes straight up.

I always find it so funny to see small investors(posters)blame the shorts. When a stock goes down:It's the shorts When a stock goes up: It's the shorts covering This data(short) is only available on a monthly basis for most investors. I will never have the tools to say if there is short pressure or not but what i do know is that Suncor results were very good and for those who

Agreed lifeisgood ..... the solid earnings report big part of this surge as many were unloading their shares in the weeks leading up to the report, concerned about what could be in there. It's not only SU, CVE is up a couple of bucks since their report, IMO was $68 day before theirs, it hit $76 today.  Of course there is going to be profit taking but hopefully consolidating at new level
