Share Price Q2 results $41.50 - results for Q3 $50?

Was just checking share price on August 15 (day after Q2 release). Price was around $41.50 (had climbed q fair bit in 2 weeks before release). Today we are up and down, but around $47.25 so a very nice return in 3 months.

Since that date SU has finalized the purchase of Fort Hills. At least one non SU shareholder frequent poster stated Kruger had botched the purchase. He also said that SU share price would not rise unless there was a significant dividend increase. Well there has been no dividend increase yet.

Also petroleum price have looked pretty decent in Q3 and maybe we will see a dividend increase.

my forecast is we a share price of at least $50 the day following release of Q3.

Your thoughts?

Yes, I believe we see $50 after Q3 results. Today was just another day at the office for Powell. He spoke in the aft, markets tanked, predictable. Oil price up but no gains for many oils stocks to show for it on lousy overall day in the markets. But they are making good profits here on the business side.
