Obscure..... don't doubt that Tesla will continiue to be a dominant player in EV space. As has been written about extensively lately, forward oil growth is expected to come from underdeveloped countries.  Developed countries consumption will continue to hold steady (just by sheer pop. growth), even as EV's evolve, as you mention with lower priced models.
