RE:Parkland InstituteI cant think a reason why , if we are all still using oil in Canada that we cant extract refine and use our OWN ....at least until better or cleaner technologies take root at the user level . By locking in the oil in the tar sands and importing oil we get no net benefit as Canadians and reduce national energy security and enrich unfriendly nations . The liberals want to fill their pockets with taxpayers money while protesting not the USE of petroleum products but where it comes from and how it gets there ....then they all drive home and sit in their warm houses satisfied that they have yet again not had an intelligent thought
