Just a heads up... If you want to buy an EV

Just a heads up... If you want to buy an EV
Just a heads up... If you want to buy an EV and charge it at home, get one now and you will be grandfathered for a home charging station. Most if not all Suburbia Electrical systems can only handle 10 to 20% of the residents owning and charging EVs. You will either have to update the residential Electrical systems to handle the extra amperage (400 as opposed to 100amp service) or go to a local charging station and wait in line.

Basically the lines in your neighborhood will have to be replaced with cross sectional diameters of 2 to 4 times their wire size now if everyone wants to charge their EV at home.

Canada will now have to rewire their Residential Electrical Systems across the country by 2035. Natural gas will be needed to generate the added electrical demand as well as updating Hydro and Nuclear generation to meet Canada's National Carbon Pricing rollout.

Canada is the most progressive country in the world right now.

Happy Canada Day!
