RE:RE:Buyback shares now while at these low levels Watching the share price be decimated for a company making large amount of free cash flow, who have upstream, downstream, power generation and retail is a really really bad incentive for any other company to invest in Canadian oil. If Suncor can't do it then everyone else is doomed.
I have to ask myself why would Cenovus buyout Connoco, for their production and then buyout Husky for their production and retail. Are we as retail investors missing something or is management missing something, you would hope they know more than we do and as mear mortals we hope to see the basics and be able to make a few dollars. We're not asking for multi millions like the CEO of these companies just a few thousands for putting our hard earned after tax dollars on the table.
I thought I had deciphered the basics here to make a few thousand dollars while I watched the moves that Pourbaix and Williams made who make 10s of millions per year for their educated decisions. Just wondering where I went wrong.
Are these CEO completely out of their minds or are we all crazy. It's hard because these publicly traded companies belong to shareholders and we are paying these multi million dollar salaries to these CEO to make the right decisions and at this point we have to ask what are we paying for.
