RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Now we are getting somewhereI would guess that Suncor will always be tarred with the oil sands brush. So maybe SU will always be stuck with a low multiple. But abandoning a profitable petroleum business will certainly not help.
I am a child of the petroleum industry. Many that I knew and admired worked for Suncor or its predecessor companies. That is one tremendous pool of talent and experience. Let them not throw any more out the door . Enough damage has been done already. Continuing down the course that society and the media is leading us is dead wrong. petoleum is still needed for a vey long time and Canada is a leader in providing the cleanest. Anyone telling you otherwise is the real luddite !! I know, my son worked for Vestas and if anyone knows the real score about renewables then he is the one !!
