It is developing petroleum resources while advancing the transition to a low-emissions future through investment in power and renewable fuels. It also wholly owns the Fort Hills Project, which is located in Alberta's Athabasca region, approximately 90 kilometers north of Fort McMurray.

New subject - ROI strategy

Hey all, wanted to start a new subject and solicit some discussion on "good ROI". I know more is always better but lately I am especially reminded of another saying I heard involving pigs getting slaughtered!

My first year (investing from COVID lows) we hit 75%.
Year two was only 10%
This year so far we're up 24% or so already.

I'm curious what kind of ROI people see on average over 10 plus years of managing their own investments? Does anyone use a strategy where they hit their annual goal and sit on cash and cherry pick for the remainder of the year?
