RE:RE:World Oil Prod 101.8 million SU Prod .748 millionExperienced ..... how was the SU offer to purchase Fort Hills & Surmont a"botched attempt" when it was known from the very begining that COP always had ROFR on Surmont and were likely to use it?
The final decision on Total's Fort Hills stake has not even been made yet.
Do you believe you have a better insight on how these deals play out than Kruger?
Perhaps strategy was to go for both assets knowing that COP would likely exercise their Surmont option and leaving Total's Fort Hills stake on its own more vulnerable to a larger discount since they announced to everyone that they want to exit the asset.
