RE:RE:Something to think aboutI don't know where to start with Z's post.
Let me be kind and use the old expression "ignorance is bliss"
Tesla has already guided that it won't be selling the single motor Cybertruck until some time in the future if ever. Range is never going to be a problem for a Tesal owner.
Tesla is installing super chargers at an incredible pace. Today, they are opening 32 more Super Chargers at a lot in Mississauga. There are two super charger locations within ten minutes of where I live and it takes takes 5 minutes to get to the closest gas station. I would rarely if ever use a Super charger as you can charge at home for less than 1/10 of the price of filling up with gasoline
It's true that Stainless steel is more expensive that ordinary steel but the stainless doesn't have to be painted. It turns out that the stainless body is actually significantly cheaper to produce than a painted steel body. The stainless is virtually dent proof and won't rust which is a huge plus.
The response from the visitors to showrooms is that the Cybertruck is WAY nicer than it looks on videos. An engineer who sculpts designs posted that the entire Cybertruck body is rounded rather than angular which you can't see on videos and softens everything up. I thought the Cybertruck was ugly when I first saw the prototype years ago but I can now see the engineering beauty.
Let's just see what the public reaction (measured by actual orders) really is
