RE:RE:IEA's forecast for oil demand to peak this decade is wrong yes, i agree IEA is a government (Germany, france, uk, japan, turkey, netherland)  funded organization, so IEA has to play their tune to get funding.  However, the demand curve for 2022 and 2023 are historical demand data. When IEA gave a higher demand forecast for 2024, i would take that as a conservatve demand forecast.
