Is this an earnings beat?
ONLY 1 Cent per share loss is technically an earnings beat depending on which analyst you were following, Some predicted a loss of 7 to 12 cents per share.

it was .20 cents for Q3. You clearly can't read. Disaster results but better then Q2.

News Source The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 15 cents per share. The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 7 cents per share.

I hope you're right and the P/S goes up tomorrow. $15 per share is not good at all!

Darn right it was a "beat". This company managed a Ton of structural, maintenance and cost savings in Q3 and still paid the dividend. When the spigots open in December we gonna fly. Same can be said about the Economy when Vaccines hit in mid December. Won't stay at these levels and expecting an uptick tomorrow, the market is forward looking ....
