Pre covid
Looks like CNQ is at pre covid sp. Unlike SU which languishes below 30 even though SU has less net debt. I guess cutting that divy is part of the problem for SU. For those that think Oand G is dead money CNQ is bucking the trend. Wish i had bought it when i bought SU at $15.63 i could have bought CNQ below 15. Oh well i think SU will climb above $30 before yearend. Its just that CNQ is there already and closing in on $40.

CNQ has also been very agressive and opportunistic since the oil crash of 2014 in regard to acquiring assets on the cheap, as other multinationals have pulled out of the oil sands.

Another divy increase by Cnq, and Suncor wont reinstate it's old one. Time for a management change.

Think long term. Their decision was good for the stock. Imagine oil crashes again, and they have to cut again? That's dumb, we are still in a sensitive market. We need the economy to be certain it's gonna open up
