Suncor has to buy Nat Gas

on the open Market.. $3+ AECO.. their costs go up.

They should have picked up a Painted Pony for Nat Gas supply for the cogen project and their base plant power requirements.

Too late Suncor, now you pay higher nat gas prices which increases your costs.

Always a bit late to the party this name.  CNQ is much better and it shows in the stock price.

Meh, it had its run and now it's been underperforming just like SU. There's no room to grow in that swamp of a stock. You can pump cnq all you want, it's staying where it's at.

increased NG and other costs likely to be the reasons for not increasing the divy when they report q2, especially if oil price has pulled back can they get anything for their Terra Nova stake now? Exxon Chevron and Equinor just walking away

SU should buy all these distress assets and mothball them all. It would really help their Emissions targets and they can write it all off and gain the tax benefit. It would take a lot of oil off the market making the industry more efficient.
