   Yes he must, however this latest tragedy was a contractor so it's a little more complex. He would have been working under the health and safety guidelines of his employer (contractor) which would meet or exceed suncor's safety governance. Could be he was an independant contractor as well but we don't have those details.

Still gonna hurt suncoras they are already being punished in their sp on their safety record and the media will jump all over this. Suncor just can't seem to climb out of the doghouse.

If board replaces CEO and if they bring in a new person with a different safety strategy as the current one is not working, then they may turn this around. I suspect downgrades will be forthcoming unless there is quick change Board I suspect is meeting behind close doors now
