not in canada outside of overpriced toronto and vancouver.  we can't build infrastructure in canada while still importing (official figure, excluding illegal coming into through the border) 500,000 eaters annually. Freeland wants to bring in temporary workers to build houses for the incoming immigrants. Who's gonna build houses for the temporary workers? do u see a catch 22? Almost ...more

Perhaps...the hollowing out of downtown office space post pandemic is something to consider in many Canadian cities.....big problem in Ottawa with the Fed policy/union contract re work from home In Toronto...one of my daughter-in-laws is a senior executive at CIBC and they are significantly reducing their office footprint due to work from home.  So what Charlie is talking about is an issue ...more

that's commercial. we all know it started to collapse years ago, in fact, commercial never really recover since 2008.  New immigrants don't live in office reit.
