RE:RE:quick question Slowly but surely. Better than the alternative.
The problem with some sernova shareholders is they are becoming extremely presumptuous. They think they are sitting on a diabetes cure but don't understand that along the way any of the many steps involved have a higher chance of failure than success. Each time we are presented with a success it is taken for granted. Remember the cure for diabetes is always 5 years away.
"T1D preclinical models with iPSC derived islet clusters transplanted in Sernova’s Cell Pouch has now demonstrated consistent long-term insulin independence de-risking the combined technologies for both companies."
Maybe think of what would have happened if the preclinicals didn't go well and the evotec cells didn't show consistent and long term insulin independence in the cell pouch. We would all be standing with our pouches in our hands. This is a risky play not a sure bet cure for diabetes. There is a reason we are trading where we are.
Looking forward to the AGM where we will certainly lose some dead weight this year. Barney and Selphie need to stop glorifying events like JPM. We all know that is not where people go to sign deals. It's like going to the AVN conference thinking you're going to bring home the hottest star.
The only thing spill is getting at JPM is a 5 dollar, make you Holler moustache ride. He should be focusing his efforts on building liquidity and getting the complainers who want out and institutional investors in. If he can't drum up any interest at these rock bottom prices, perhaps he isn't the man for the job.
