SVC & CRW.UN

SVC & CRW.UN

SVC & CRW.UN; bought an equal(1/2)position in both on friday.

Here's my premise:I'm getting real tired of paying $12+X2 to go and sit thru 15 minutes of ads at the theatre. If there are many people like me(I hope not!)who have recently purchased largish LCD or Plasma

TVs I can see a major move to home video away from cinemas.

Assuming people still want to SEE the latest flicks, this means that either DVDs or downloads are going to experience a big jump. If it's downloads SVC should do well, If its DVDs CRW.UN will. Given that the share price of both of them is already down near 52 week lows I think that the downside on the loser here will be minimal and the winner will move substantially.

A downturn in the US which encourages people to stay home will only accentuate this scenario.

To offset market risk I've also put on a 1/4 beta market short.

thoughts anyone?
