EXAS might be getting married 06:09 AM EDT, 08/09/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Exact Sciences (EXAS) has approached genetic testing company Invitae (NVTA) about a potential combination, Bloomberg News reported, citing unnamed individuals with knowledge of the matter.
The companies are not engaged in active dialogue. Should both parties arrive at an agreement, it would likely be a low-premium, all-stock merger, sources told the news organization, adding that there could be no guarantee that negotiations would produce a deal.
Representatives for Exact Sciences and Invitae declined to comment on the report, Bloomberg News said.
