The delegation headed by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Eduardo Gonzlez , seeks to open a dialogue with the communities of this area, after since last October 4, the facilities of Station 5 of the Norperuano Pipeline (ONP), in Manseriche, Datem del Maraon province, remain taken. On the part of the indigenous organizations of this area, they hope to put on the agenda the renegotiation of oil contracts, the approval of the current Loreto Oil Canon Distribution Law, the remediation of impacted lots such as Lot 192, Lot 8 and the ONP Section 1 and North Branch in Loreto. In addition, the creation of a Truth and Justice Commission on the influence and impact of 50 years of the Petroleum Industry and the persecution and death of social leaders, among others. Meanwhile, it was learned that the Minister of Energy and Mines and other state authorities, upon arrival at Station 5 in Loreto, were cordially received by a delegation of apus from the communities in the area and indigenous leaders. As it is recalled, the native communities of Manseriche have been in protest for more than 30 days, waiting to arrange an intercultural dialogue with the authorities on duty so that their demands are heard. https://vigilanteamazonico.pe/2021/11/08/loreto-comision-de-alto-nivel-de-la-pcm-llega-a-estacion-5-para-dialogar-con-comunidades/
