Questions on Two Companies

Questions on Two CompaniesSince ECN announced a bought deal, the share price has steadily declined. But I see that the CEO is loading up on shares (he purchased over 1M this week).  Also can you provide your thoughts on TCN? It seems to me that rentals should go up in this environment.

ECN has sold a division, but not shares. The stock has had a bad few weeks, but remains slightly better than the TSX return this year. We like management and the insider buying shows confidence. Keep in mind the company is still transitioning after asset sales and its very large special dividend. TCN has bounced off its low, but while it should benefit from US rental demand it is also subject to sentiment weakness on higher interest rates. It is very very cheap, and we like its prospects. We would be comfortable slowy buying both companies. (5iResearch)
