RE:RE:38 million shares bt at $2.79 average......Tannins comments arent particularily fair IMO...

First, hindsight is 20-20..: Do you really think Trican would have been buying shares that aggressively if they thought The share price was going to dip to buck. If anything, management missed on market direction and was zealous in buying shares at a price they though fell below fair market value.. It shows how strongly they believe in the company..They feel its worth more than the price they’ve paid.
Second, if you’re going to criticize the NCIB, at least give them the credit that they havent stopped buying, and were even doing so down at the bottom...So those millions of shares bought at around the dollar level have lowered that $2.79 level substantially on a dollar cost average basis.

I’ve never met an investor who is psychic enough to guess the peaks and valleys..
