RE:RE:RE:TCW Closes AnotherPhantom
With all due respect, you have to be a little more objective...You actually sound like an employee or someone close to the scene, thus the bias...
With utilization rates are low as they are, what exactly are you proposing...bring employees in to play cards, wash off stagnant equipment? There are only so many man hours to divide between the crews...limited work! Well..this is the only way for a company to survive, every one in the sector is having a heck of a time..you have to be smart.
The only suggestion I can think of cut all shifts back by 30-40% in an attempt to keep a few more people employed..but even then you have a no win situation as people still have a baseline income they need to make to pay the bills.
sucks all around really...but ulitmately, the role of leadership in this scenario is to ensure that the company is still around down the road..
.The people you should be blaming are Notley and Trudeau as the tarnished reputation and unstable business environment lead internationals to question investment in our country...Just look at how well the heavy handed approach has worked in Venezula with the “peoples” resources...
To better days..
