The key word being 'could'....the lender could face a much higher fine than previously expected as well as a significant hit to its long-term financial performance. And I 'could' buy even more TD shares at $71.  Go look at a max (20 year chart) of TD and see how much impact these seemingly significant events have on their share price over time. I am with you on your comment and I decided to buy today as a start 500 shares. Dividend 5.2% at reasonable Stock Price. time will tell. But here for the long haul. glta

ecolo101, wishing you the best on your purchase, I don't wish any TD shareholder bad luck. I own this share along with RY and recently purchased some BNS on their dip and high dividend. But I won't purchase any more shares of TD because of their significant incompetence as a banking institution and because they're currently an embarassment in the financial field. Not only is it ultimately the CEO's responsibility, it makes you wonder if he had some direct involvement in the laundering. That's a heck of a lot of cash for just a bank teller to process.  Someone somewhere was receivng more than just the occasional gift card for all their hard laundering work, that's for damn sure...
