One of the reason why shares in the US banking sector rose dramatically in the last 6months.....was the anticipation of higher interest rates.

Looks like Trump will nix that and the Feds have already indicated that the rise will not be as much as investor's were hoping for. Trump likes a weak USD,makes the playing field more level with its international competitor's.

Canadian banks sp, with US exposure,have retreated as a result.

I don't think that the financial markets have yet reacted to the potential crisis in North Korea.Let's hope they don't go ahead with their planned atomic test this weekend....
