RE: Teck Cominco & Nautilus?

RE: Teck Cominco & Nautilus?Hi Red, Nautilus really is both a fascinating and exciting story. I started looking hard at it in Sept after my buddy Lr7 had bought it & started chatting about it. I bought in on Oct 4 at $1.90 & $2.00. I have since found out that Sprott bought it also in that time frame for $2.00 as disclosed by John Embry on Robtv last week. Soon after it was halted for 2 weeks and they disclosed an investment by Anglo American for 70% above last trade of $1.90 equivalent to $3.37. I bought more after it began trading at $2.85 and it last traded at $4.32 on Friday before it was halted again. The CEO David Heydon, who is quite articulate and very convincing, spoke on Robtv on Friday evening around 4:50pm. There are lots of link to stories on the SH board for v.nus. There are some things on their website too. There was recently a good AV presentation there too. Basically extremely high grades for gold, silver, zinc & copper, large claims position, a specialized ship being built at contractors expense of $120M USD, Anglo expertise on board with Debeers ownership and they have already mined diamonds off shore in shallower water. Expecting to start mining in 2009. Deposits are sitting on surface of ocean floor. CEO tells us that mining will cost much less than convention land based mining partly due to high grades and ease of access. They need $270M USD for capital cost and currently have $83M USD in cash & no debt. They think they can do $1.4B worth of minerals annually based on current prices and implied production rates. More on SH board. If Teck is really in than I will not part with any shares regardless of price. Have fun, Cheers!!!
