future outlook is solid
future outlook is solidI called market call yesterday and asked smedley about teck. He says dont sell that it is oversold and he likes teck here as a solid value. The call was in the first half hour of the show if anyone wants to listen.
In the last few weeks Brian Acker has had teck as a top pick on both marketcall shows. The first appearance he had a model price of $76 and I dont think he gave a model price on the second show.
Berman also likes teck at this level went as far as to say he had personally purchased teck in his own account (that was after the galore creek announcement too). The only negative commentary came from Brieger who said he would take a look at teck at $30 but I dont have much confidence in his opinion anyway.
Also with the heavy volume yesterday of almost 6 mill it held up pretty good. If the share price can support this kind of volume then we have to be at the bottom. We have found solid support at that level.
The last few weeks have been a nightmare for stockholders and all I can say is that the lows we saw were just plain stupid. Who would be selling at those levels? I can understand margin selling but what we saw was far more than that. I have been watching the trading activity throughout the day and the amount of sell orders were staggering. Just when we started to rally someone would throw up 100 bid lots on the sell below the last trade and if we got through that then they would throw another large sell order. I dont understand the mentality with that. It's like there was an attempt to manipulate the shareprice lower and lower.
Anyway we have a bounce today, finally, and it looks like we have seen the worst. Looking for a big bounce.
