2015 Annual Report & Just My Thoughts

2015 Annual Report & Just My ThoughtsRecent filing history tells us TGZ files Annual Reports February 18 – 20, See Below. It’s quite possible we will see the 2015 Annual Report tomorrow. And if we are fortunate, said Report may have some additional information for the public, for investors.

SEDAR FILINGS:

February 18, 2015
2014 Audited annual financial statements

February 20, 2014
2013 Audited annual financial statements

February 20, 2013
2012 Audited annual financial statements

Regarding the Mackie Research Capital entitled, “Top gold stocks for your portfolio in 2016”
While reading the Report/Analysis; my attention was drawn to the following :

“2016 should be a good year for Teranga. However, the share price trades at just 21% of underlying value. Teranga is the definition of deep value and is a longer term investment choice that does not correlate well with short-term gold price movements.”

1 – Yes, 2016 should be a good year for Teranga, (according to everything I have read during the last 6-8 months or so).
2 – Yes, the share price-to-value ratio has suffered and should most definitely be higher, by at least a factor of 3 (3x higher) – I mentioned in a previous post; I believe TGZ, because of its success, has been a target of `big money’, as has gold, for the purpose of supporting the value of the USD. I also mentioned that I thought retail shorts had joined in the same. An alternative to the `big money’ scenario; it’s possible that a prospective buyer has been driving the price down, prior to a friendly(?) or hostile takeover, (and retail shorts would also follow that action).
3 – Yes, could be a profitable long term investment; it could also be a profitable short term investment.
4 - Yes, I noticed TGZ was referred to as one of the "Top gold stocks for 2016"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Talk here about a share buy-back, or a dividend; that would hurt and/or slow advancement. Long term, I don’t believe either of those ideas would be beneficial to TGZ or investors.

A reverse split? I have yet to see one that did not put a heavy burden on a company. In fact, I recall companies failing after a reverse split. A reverse split is more often than not like `blood in the water’; a signal for sharks.
