Volunteering for Phase 1 TH 1902 trial and difficulty inRecruting.....
The pool for recruiting patients in the trial is made up of patients who have failed all other available options(as far as I know)
I am a witness of a real case where a dear friend suffering fro a cancer type enumerated in the basket trial and she had been in remission for nearly 7 years after receiving chemo but unfortunately she had a relapse a few months ago and refused any other treatments...She is now in a palliative care center since this week and her days are counted ......
Patients for the trial have no other options but the decision to volunteer for a clinical trial is not as easy as you would expect ...if it were you would need only a handful of recruiting centers
This is why more recruiting centres are neede
