However, since we've had a supposed blackout period all of this year, I would now look at that being removed as a negative without any further context. In my mind, the only way a blackout period could've lasted this long is if there were legitimate offers on the table being entertained for a partnership, buyout, or something major like that. Removing the blackout period could signal that those are now off the table, but if insiders started buying, that would still show a good sign of faith that the stock is undervalued and they believe in future prospects.
