Nothing like some 'leaks' on the FDA Resubmission

Price and volume up - still pathetic on both, but it's up.

Perhaps more related to them telling the story at the conference they were at this week. I do believe they will use the submission of a new protocol to talk to the market about where they are, which frankly we sort of know on that program anyway. So that alone is not some  major market moving event. It's probably they talked about being a $90mil mkt company with that in revenues and some ...more

Thank you Wino.  I agree and also hope they can write a great news release with some additional info and the restart reasoning and some great info about the longer term hopes for the entire program. They can't ignore this.

Just get the dam thing above 1$ to avoid consolidation disaster.
Comment by SPCEO1 on Apr 27, 2023 10:05am
While I am all for getting THTX to close above $1 per share for 10 consecutive trading days to take the potential for delisting from NASDAQ off the table, it would hardly be a disaster if it happened. Also, it is unlikey to happen until February 2024 if they fail to get the stock price higher. But the reason it would not be a disaster is it traded on the pink sheets for many years without any ...more

What an investment change, really "bizar", from a 1 B dollar projection to the pink sheets........!!!!! I also wonder if they can't get more cancer research grants for govt to UQAM to do a lot of this early stuff. It was interesting to see that two of the three AACR posters were based on UQAM research, including the Cold to Hot tumor studies. Those $2mil grants have helped beyond the original breast cancer work. Maybe they can use a grant from that breast cancer focused group to do either a ...more

The actual issue is that they never tell us what's in the fire or why things are not in the fire or why things are being considered for the fire.  We get nothing but verbal diarrhea or a lack thereof.
Comment by Mannequin on Apr 27, 2023 12:12pm
Even worse, they tell us something, but then don't elaborate on it or tell any details about it so it's meaningful and closes the loop.
Comment by Trogarzon on Apr 27, 2023 12:15pm
The only thing they will understand is your vote. Until Mayy 4 you have to let them know you are converned.  i am and I'm voting.
Comment by Wino115 on Apr 27, 2023 2:31pm
I'm afraid part of that is that the pre-clinical stuff was all packaged nicely, told a compelling story around safety, efficacy, novel aspect, etc..   Back then there was a lot of detail in all sorts of areas --in fact, that pre=clinical is still telling that level of info. But the human trial is where they hit a stumbling block. There wasn't really much  they could "tell ...more

Agree - so sad though. Many mistakes and missed opportunity. The executives have ran out of steam.  Their legacy: doing a reorg of the sales force.  That's about it.

Wino was expecting board resignations before AGM.  They are all good with the situation it seems.  Management is business as usual and IR is screaming at us.  Hey it's all good I guess.  Vote I say.
Comment by Wino115 on Apr 27, 2023 5:15pm
I thought a few might announce this was their last year - they expanded it a year ago and I figured they transfer some of those responsibilities and then retire a few. Very hard to tell from the outside, but a few seem to have passed the agreed upon "expire date" they used to have. So you'd think they'd try to lower costs since they are getting to breakeven. They didn't. I ...more

Even in a situation where votes % would be lower, it will be business as usual for TH. I am sure they are prepared for such an event and have a plan to calm down the play. They will press the lemon to the last drop. I will be looking for the results. I am pretty sure the big hands will vote in favor, out of fear of losing their dream. And the BoD knows it. Keep on dreamin'! You will lose ...more

Simply hoping large holders will help to remove the correct board members.snd maybe if we are lucky push to install better choices.
Comment by SPCEO1 on Apr 28, 2023 10:30am
I don't like to vote against company proposals, as I have stated in the past, but I will withhold voting at all and let the rest of the shareholders decide the outcome of the various proposals. I have heard from some of the other large shareholders and know that one is voting against two board members and others plan to vote,or already have voted, in favor of all proposals. As a result, my ...more

It might just be the last you get to make a difference with your vote before they get the all clear to delute us into oblivion to finance a pipedream they can't any value from the market or partners.  I wouyld allign myself with other big shareholders to get people on the board that can actually bring changes to the way they run things overthere.
Comment by houbahop on Apr 28, 2023 11:31am
The easy thing to do here is to vote against 1 or 2 members of the board while voting in favor of all the others to send a clear message. If a couple of members receive  80%+ votes against while all the others receive 90%+ votes for, it would do the job, imo. This is a way to send a clear signal to the BoD. They have to change the way they deal with their fiduciary duties towards their ...more

I have no problem voting against company proposals when they are not adequately explained and when the company hasn't proven to be able to follow through consistently on objectives.  It's on them to communicate, and I feel we got very little around the proposals.  I also do not feel like they have appropriately made adjustments for strategic mistakes they've made.  I ...more

In my opinion they only have interest for they're large shareholders since they haven't been there for too long and haven't paid 5$+ for their shares.  For instance a player like Soleus might have put 20M in Thera @ 2$ and could accept and participate some more in a cheap dilution and wait another 5yrs to see possible fruition to their investment.  The small long time players ...more

I voted my approximately 190,000 votes similarly as yours.  I did vote in favour of the auditor. I feel this is a company that right now needs to tighten its belt.  Do we really need this many board members.  What plan is there to actually lower cost, beyond any research expense that will fall off in the second half?  I feel Thera has become bloated again, and I am sure some ...more

Considering the fact they were building a mini Pfizer prior to the ALL IN 1B trial and that suddently they're cought offguard without having been able to subsequetly pull off a 5$ secondary. They should have announced 30% headcount reduction right off the bat and avoid the Marathon ongoing concern situation and all the bad covenants that come with it.   They should have secured a ...more

Every clinical program has to be proceeded by a "good" preclinical yet many still stumble/fail, it's a risky business.

It has  been passed onto tome from another shareholder that THTX does not plan to issue a PR regarding the resubmission of the TH-1902 protocol. So, it may have been filed already or it may not have been but they do still expect to be testing again by the end of June.  Of course, the FDA may have questions or may not live up to their own timelines, so there is always risk the restart ...more

Looks like they made a few pages clearer (Nash bullet points are punchier) and added in the new sort1 data with decent explanations added. Hadn't realized the extent to which that breast cancer data was strong - last dose day 35 but tumor control went another 100 days so something must be going on in those cells.   Also added the immune cell infiltration as one of the valuable elements ...more

The reason they are not posting a PR is becuase they are going to miss their promised date of end of April by about 5 weeks and not have submitted until right before next Q CC so tehy can say yes we submitted to FDA and should hear back shortly.....they will just omit that they sent over 18 minutes before the CC call started. The presentation that came out earlier this week indicated the new protocol will be submitted in early May. They still expect to restart the trial late in June subject to the FDA being timely in their responses.
Comment by Trogarzon on Apr 28, 2023 1:08pm
Anyway, since it's only viewed has an expense and thus a negative pressure on the stock, the later the better if they don't get any partner for it.  If it's good a partner will show up, otherwise it's like Nash, a dream.

Can I recommend everyone try to use the "quote" button so that we all can know what exactly it is you are referring to in a previous post? In the case of TH-1902, the potential for finding a partner is much greater due to the conventional path TH-1902 has traveled (as opposed to the very unconventional path traveled by Egrifta in NASH) and the much lower cost of a partnership deal in ...more
