Book Value

Book Value

All;

TID's book value is said to be 1.05 ( accourdig toYahoo Finance) and It trades at 70% discount. DOes this always mean that if a company is to be liguated each share holder will get 1per hare. When is a stock trading at very  low multiple of book value a screaming buy and when is it a harbinger of deep problems( the fact that it trades at a much discount t book value)

Yes TID trades at a discount of close to 70% of book value is this an undervalued stock or a stock with problems, how to tell which is which. Cus if book value was a silver bluet measure we will all be Buffest or the big guys may know that and be buying TID like there is no tomorrow and the stock will be higher that its book value. So what gives? Can some one enlighten me, I want to know
