Earnings

If they will deliver positive news forward looking, then you will see some stablity in the price. The TSX companies live by a different set of disclosuer rules. Hard to believe this company could not share news of at least signing up a new exploration company either in South America or Africa. That would at least be some good news. So why would any new buyers come in with no news at all?. The year end numbers will be junk. Im still looking at .11 before they get some positive news out.. Whats the deal on the HRT rigs and the rig that was to go to Africa from Trinadad. The other Trinadad rig? How about a bond deal before the rates on LIBOR start creepeing up. If rates go up on this company then its all over at this revenue rate. DEBT DEBT. Whats your plan Walter?

There is already stability in the price. If they deliver any news or even a future plan, price will go up as the fundamentals are good and only the lack of news hold the stock down.

How do you know jundamentals a are good? Please share your information on forth comming debt payments, utlization and expenses. Im thinking this will come next week and will not be good news. So we will see.  Just tell like it is. No news is very troubling. Again, why cant they share basic news on bi-monthly rig and new rig work contracts.? Splain that Walter

Miner, I always agree with the people who think like I do. You are right. Most have discounted the air out of Tusk. The conference call will give us the first opportunity to hear from Dawson. "He speaks"!!!! We all expect the earnings to be dismal. Walter will have to give shareholders his vision for the future, and hopefully a plan to address the debt? The earnings report will be more ...more

jack, the debt is not a problem at all. Have you ever seen the debt and the D/EBITDA  and  D/FFO  ratios  of   BAS,  KEG,  FES    etc.  etc. ALL  the  US-based  companies  of  the  energy services  sector  have  much  worse  ratios  than  TID !  ALL ! This  happens   ...more

Punt, I am not talking about relative debt ratios. It is my opinion the debt of Tuscany, is company specific and needs to be addressed in light of imminent maturities. Apples to oranges comps of Tuscany, to Key Energy, Basic, Forbes, are no more applicable than comparing soon to be bankrupt Calgary based services company  T.PSN/ Posedion.
