Finding auction bidders, posting on a drilling site?

Someone a couple of days ago mentioned contacting potential buyers who would be interested in an auction.  I think the idea was to look up TSX companies in the field.  I am wondering if this can be taken further, perhaps someone who knows the field can post some publicity on a drilling site with a lot of traffic which would be read by a more international and targeted audience than say this bullboard.

I would be happy to do this, but I don't know the industry,  I am not even sure how to formulate an advertisement on the topic,  I bought stock as many others only based on BV...
