RE:Inflation going higher than Captain Kirk...With respect, the Weimar Republic is a classic example that while financial crashes are bad, and will hurt us, inflation makes productive asset holders rich. Weimar lenders who bought shares made a killing as their debts vanished. Not a good environment to live in, but they did better than everyone else on the market.
