Hey All

Hey AllGreetings again, it's been a little while since I've posted here but have been watching all along. It has clearly been a very interesting past few months in both Taseko and copper prices in general. I actually find the conversations between Slew and Cup / JC / Cog / Joe's both entertaining and useful because I understand both sides of the interactions. I still remember my first purchase of Taseko shares, paid $1.10 per with a $10k initial buy. Pretty sure it was 2015 but don't hold me to that, may have been 2016. Definitely before the days of really elevated share prices, though I did take notice of the price history and the overall New Prosperity story. Over the years, it has been Florence keeping me uber stuck to being long. The old timers on this board know I was super fortunate to load up big time during the crash when prices actually hit .25 cents. Not bragging, just relating how I once managed to have well over 300k shares. Sold some along the way, did some swing trading, missed getting out two years back for the most part during the last spike and always managed to keep my share count just under the 300k mark. My Joe buddies finally talked me into selling a good chunk, sold a good deal at $3 this past week. I replay this history to give a foundation when I say I totally get what Slew is saying and agree with many of his points while also getting where Cup / JC / Cog are coming from. The only real objective here is to make money. You can't do so unless you sell higher than you bought. Obvious, I know. So to JC and Cog (and others), I get it. You still think shares are undervalued and that Florence makes it better yet. If you're simply going to hold until Florence gets into production without being concerned about what happens between now and then, cool, I get it. But Slew is correct as well. Taseko stock absolutely has been a great "trading" play over the last several years. Just because Slew is snarky and sarcastic doesn't make many of his points wrong. I actually like his posts because it reminds that making money is the ultimate goal. You can trade Taseko shares successfully without having to "time" the market. Anyway, from the swing trading over the last few years and last big sale, I'm down to 210k shares. A few posters here don't understand why some people (like me) publicly state their share count owned / sold. Clearly doesn't bother me as what I do isn't effecting anything, I'm just a retired guy trying to make some money in the markets and helping others along the way if I can. Now to the kicker! Get ready to skewer me Slew (and others), I can take it. To the rumbling laughter of the trio Joe's, I bought 200k shares of Nevada Copper at 7.25 cents. Being honest, I didn't think the trade would fill. Put a large limit order in significantly under the ask the afternoon before the big dip earlier this week. Didn't make it a "day only" order. Next morning, copper crashes and the order gets a complete fill. No big deal, 100% speculation but still, feel free to laugh along with the others! Never thought I would own NEVDF / NCU shares but here I am. As I posted on the NCU board, if only 10% of NF's predictions come true, all will be well! Can they survive banko? Will they do another rollback? One frequent poster there says mines in Nevada never go banko, they either shutter or change hands. Haven't heard anything like that before. Lots of weird goings on with how those shares trade. That's it for now, have a good weekend. Go Taseko. Go NCU?!
