Management Change Needed

All other copper producers are flying today, but not Taseko. The market is speaking loudly telling us, they do not trust the people running this company. They have one producing mine and can't seem to make a profit in this environment. They have totally messed up NP, and gave away a chunk of the company for a song, just as copper prices exploded. They couldn't have screwed this up more if they tried. Management keeps off load their cheap options and writing themselves more, its a joke.

Hey John, what are you hearing about the Q4 report? We're fearing another miss is coming our way, thinking 30M flat. You know, the whole dewatering and changing of pits thing. Are you going to buy more after a miss? Or just keep holding until the end? Heard Rusty just bought a new Corvette with all the bells and whistles.

Joe, I haven't heard anything about Qtr 4, just watching the price action tells me it won't be great. I still think taseko will do fine in this price environment. If the final permit gets approved, we could see $ 3.00 can. I won't be buying more, i loaded up with an average price of .33 us. It is just frustrated to watch some of the things that happen with this company, I have no ...more

Fishy, I want more! I still haven't gotten over the PP. I agree I did well since my purchase in May. I'm not selling, I'm going to give Russ an opportunity to totally redeem himself with Florence. Since my rant about management the price is up .05. Maybe they read it and began buying in the open market? Some how I doubt it!

Ok fair enough... i think the bump is because of snuffles buying large in his practice account

Q4 is still a big question.  Producing lots of copper at this price would be a good idea.  Low production numbers would be disappointing.  I have been holding TGB since 2009 so I have learned something about reports. No news is usually bad news.  They love giving up good news ahead of time. I will be happy with in-line numbers.  130 million even for the year.    ...more

Sorry jc. They read these posts. They had ample time to correct typos. U phone management and they will hold your hand and say well maybe but maybe not.  As 4 the 2020 florence finance miss, it would b. Well, wevwere in a rush doing this promo up and so u can not expect accuracy. Both the 2 weeks 2 q4 finish volume and finance spec were forward looking statements. Bottom line. U believe us ...more

Really.  Do you think they read this board?   That would be fascinating if they do.  How do you know they do?   I stick by my guns.  No news is usually not good for this company.  I am hoping you are right because I haven't sold any sh.

Only up a penny right now, Q4 is going to be a miss.

That was a true story about how I got into tko. I have always known the public market is not to make the public money. That said, I played it that hdi was extremeley good and could make a sh a buck. Lately, I have become less optomistic. It will only b copper that makes sh any bucks.  nf

LOL Copper price is pretty much the only thing that can make any copper miner sh any bucks....even the biggest, richest miners in the world only make $$$ when copper price is up!!

John thats not fair to tko management... they have been very consistent with their decisions and actions over the last 15 years.... if you want to place blame.... blame yourself for continuing to invest in these guys... if you want chicken for dinner dont keep buying a goose.. the nice thing about tko is they are consistent.... pump ... and then disappoint... tko knows the production and cost ...more
