flor jv

Stuart said they would take 3.10 npv for jv. That makes sense as lom could be more 3.00ish.

So that would mean about 100 million cads to the bank for 10%. It would value sp at 3.00 plus gib and rest of pipeline.

Weak hands getting shook. Need more popcorn:))

....the analyst from TD told BB that a JV for Flo should be off the table, with high/higher copper, cash on hand, Gib earnings...why JV such a fantastic asset?? in normal/usual times mabey those numbers make sense, but to lose 8.5 M lbs per year for 21 years that is about 25M$US ebita/yr  at about 4$ copper....for $100M CDN now. (or 4 months of Gib ebita) So in 3 yrs the jv partner will be ...more

No need to wonder why we have a low sp....management will not value our assets....they should be doing EVERYTHING possible NOT to jv Flo, instaed it sounds like the opposite. Conditions could not be better to build Flo 100% value to shareholders.

Only thing I worry abought is that they already made a deal and cant get out of it,,. They said some time back they were very close on something,,. Maybe an LOI that they have kept under wraps,,!!

So they are outright lying in a report and CC..??...

You can quit worrying es. Management has been known to mislead on occasion. But they said they were still in talks with select few entities about jv and that they want 700 million u,s. value. They clearly srated tgat there was no need to jv, if tgey did not get fair value. nf

I think I am ok with that value.  As long as the percentage is in line and the JV covers their portion of the capex.
Comment by 2024golden on Feb 25, 2021 3:48pm
So their first choice is a JV, with 700M value...so 10% for 70M. That 70M will be fully recovered in less than 3 years by the jv partner....with 18 more years of pure profit! Go back and LISTEN to the TD analysts question to BB...he was telling him that there should be no financial reason to still be considering a jv at all...the funds are there!!  That analyst WANTED BB to come out strong ...more

Hey NF, did you get the 700 million from the conference call? or the MD&A? And that is what they want, or the valuation they want to determine JV share? Huge difference.... ;) KW

Stuart mentioned the 700 million npv of 2017 based on 3.10 copper. He then mentioned much higher npv at another number. Then he said. At todays copper price it wouod b much higher again. Then he said they would likely accept a jv based on the 2017 npv. Which makes sense to me. 70 million u.s. for 10%. Two years of no return. Then, 2 years of 40 million dollars. So 4 year payback. Then copper ...more

Russ was very adamant that copper was going to go over 5.00 a pound and stay there for a long time. With that statement, how fo you do a give away jv. nf

Exactly....I'm hoping this whole jv thing is only smoke, otherwise it is another pp giveaway!!
