Spec. There was never any subdivision built. The town changed the zoning to try to stop flor. Value partners bought land next to for ground with full knowledge of the mine. nf

Then how do you explain all the houses on the Merrill Ranch subdivison? This is what the lawsuit is/was about. Property rights are separate from mineral rights unless they have been purchased. Not talking the entirety of Florence Copper property, but rather the portion of it that lies within the city limits.

There are several builders offering new homes on Merrill Ranch. Hopefully they are disclosing this issue to prospective buyers. I can't imagine it helps sell new homes, but who knows. Florence Copper has won all the previous legal rounds, so we appear to be on firm legal ground. That being said, I still have to wonder about the impending litigation.

MILES away. Not an issue. Everyone in the area knows about Florence Copper. The only thing within 1.5 miles in any direction is agricultural land and cotton fields.

No. YOu Merrill Ranch was a HUGE development with many scattered properties. This property was part of his holdings, but is far away from where actual develpment is happening. Miles away.
