I'll be curious to see if they waived their award of attorney fees in exchange for a Town commitment to forgo any further appeals on any permits, particularly an EPA permit.

Wc. They would not do that. That would b like submitting to blackmail. However, they may have agreed to continue with tgere community wellness program in larger scale. Tko tax paid all towns legal fees already. nf

Oh absolutely they would do that. In fact, I would not be surprised of an official Town of Florence support letter to the EPA during the EPA hearing was a condition. There is new Town leadership now after elections. They are pro-Florence Copper. An agreement like that is a win-win. They get to be pro-Florence Copper AND get the attorney fees waived.
