* TASEKO MINES LTD - ACQUISITION PRICE CONSISTS OF A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF $117 MILLION PAYABLE OVER A PERIOD OF TEN YEARS AND POTENTIAL CONTINGENT PAYMENTS

Wow.  This agreement has very favorable terms.  And yet it values the Gibraltar mine alone at $1 billion--at least in mgmt eyes.  It demonstrates extreme optimism on mgmt part.  They could have let them just sell the 12.5% to someone else.  It's also cash flow accretive.   I need to look closer, but this seems like a very bullish move and a market catalyst.

The market seems to be really liking this move.  It indicates mgmt is VERY bullish not only on Florence, but also on Gibraltar. Sonare we all of a sudden start to see Gib push 130 million share per year?  More incentive now.  That mine has had 20 additional years of mine life for the last 15 years. I wonder what mgmt knows about Gibraltar that no one else does yet.  Can ...more

now fluff needs 0.25 ncu cad, to stay with tko:))   They essentially do not start paying untill flor. is at full ramp. So  the 25% cash flow positive will add to tko bank coffers.  I am very glad tko is headed up. I think my colts will havevthe same dynamics. Like the china mine ceo said. They r not interested in early discovery or exploration but want proven ready to go ...more

The initial cash layout for this deal is a paltry $5 million.  When they got the 12.5% last year, they immediately sold the silver stream that they got back to Osisko for over $10 million (plus $50k a year in additional installment).  They are getting another 12.5% of the silver stream in this deal and the price of silver has bumped up a little bit since then.
