re Wallbridge

re WallbridgeI am at an age where wandering off the beaten path, investment-wise, is something I try to avoid.

I got lured into Troilus some time ago when I noticed that Quebec, Inc. participated in a bot deal for a not-insubstantial amount at $1.10.  Thankfully, my cost is nowhere near that. I can take slim and delusional comfort that I'm in at a 35% discount to the brains. Which means I'm still underwater, bigtime.

I know very little about Wallbridge or the dozens of other little companies that have a million or two indicated ounces littered across the landscape of central Quebec. All I need to know about Wallbridge is they have close to a Billion shares out and are at 13 cents. Do I really need this grief?

Someday, somebody will sweep together a few of these deplorables and might even get a deposit into 100,000 annual oz production and develop the next one. Etc. I don't want to wait around for a decade to see that scenario come to fruition, given that my realistic life-expectancy is probably a dozen years!!!

I think one has to recognize that all these little companies live to pay a select few executives a very comfortable salary, year in and decade out. Good luck.
