Troilus Gold Corp > Why can't they go alone?

Why can't they go alone?

Why does it seem to be set in stone that this has to be a joint venture?   I'm in the camp, that it can't be ruled out...going it alone.

Market conditions are improving, gold is holding well above $2000, copper is on fire!

Past interviews with Justin talking joint venture/partner are perhaps different now?

What if this DFS comes in above expectations?  Payback 1.5 years??

Finance options include the copper stream, Quebec government financing, other possible financing, don't forget CAT financing.

My hope is go it alone!   Ultimately... Buy out!!   Partnership depresses me.. After all these years of holding on....now I get to split it with a partner?

Justin has proven, that he doesn't show his cards.  Remember when the DFS was coming out immediately?  Now it's May?  When Justin says May...I say June/July?

Anyway... Bottom line is no one knows.... I hope for a buy out!   Easy calculation....existing infrastructure, ounces in the ground.... Close to a billion evaluation.... $2-$3 bucks a share should be reasonable!

If the initial capex is $1B or more (which I'm almost certain), there's no way I can see TLG being able to come close to raising this amount of money by themselves.   Here are TLG's financing component options (please add any additional choices I may have missed):   Equity Raise: Assume TLG can issue new shares at 1.00 each (I'm being generous here because ...more

I'm certainly no expert here Always.   I've actually never owned a company that ended up in a partnership/joint venture, so I have no personal experience to compare what happened in shate prices, etc. But, in my mind.... A 50-50 joint venture/partnership...Is also a form of dilution is it not?   If you only own half, would that not mean you only see half the ...more

From an email response from IR on April 24, all systems are a go for the DFS release in May.   Yes, partnering in a sense is a form of dilution.   TLG is not going to come up with $1B on there own & if they could the resulting dilution to the company would make this much less appealing.  The very best result is obviously a major that is will to buy this out at $1.5B+.   ...more

It will be very interesting to see how this unfolds Gut.  You've never changed your thesis over the many years here and I hope you are rewarded as such! I can't help feeling that going alone isn't possible?  I could be nuts, yes.  But it's certainly at least a possibility.... Given Justin's previous work history and all those connections...and....I can't ...more

No thoughts are nuts, as this is all best guesses based on the information at hand.  The next 30 days should be very telling.  As I've mentioned before once the DFS is out big time names in the PM space should be chiming in with their thoughts on how it looks.  We'll know a lot pretty soon.
