Regarding the reverse split;

This won`t do anything for GDXJ inclusion. It`s based on market cap. As for the day traders; it`ll attract more because instead of moving 2 pennies when gold moves $15.00, the new stock will move .25 at that point. Day traders like this type of movement. 
         It`s a good move to consolidate when your`re in producton rather than not. It will attract new Institutional investment that are not allowed to invest in companies trading less than 1 or 2 dollars.

Fb454 I believe the stock will become less liquid and daytraders don't like that. All in all a good move on their part.

Reverse Split - Those exploration/production companies having weak balance sheets/negative cash flows, that execute a reverse stock split from a position of weakness are normally looked at by the markets as desperation measures, that then create downward pressure on their stock afterwards.   If, as in Timmins case, a reverse stock split is executed from a position of strength, there can ...more

Quite honestly, any rollback is first met with a negative reaction, but as many have said here today, TMM has initiated this from a point of strength.  Profitable. No debt.  Great prospect property.  Personally, I figured this would be done a year down the line, with AP much more mature, and SF with a clear path forward, and with TMM fully valued.  So, at this point, I view it ...more
