On a second thought, hybrid approach would work. In that case, I would use all my dividend just to repurchase shares. Share price would go up faster in that case and ncib won't be as effective yet

Maybe a hybrid approach would be the best way to go. 50% as a monthly dividend and the other 50% toward the NCIB. Try it for 3 months and reevaluate after. Nothing to lose I guess.
