RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AC bidit's a bit of a coin toss here, obviously we have no idea what's really happening behind the scenes but you might guess from the stock price that it ain't looking good. Will the feds beg AC to take trz like they did canadian airlines and give favors in exchange?
So the company don't look like deers in headlights, AC will probably jointly announce something; like an amended transaction, a captial injection maybe backed by feds, who knows. Then trz will have to get shareholders on board. You can look at rite-aid for reference, wba changed the rich deal terms as retail was getting crushed a few years ago, waiting 1.5 years for an antitrust ruling. the original deal price was $9. right before regulatory descision, wba said it negotiated a lower prce to 6.50 with rite aid (yes, unheard of, they lowered the price as the clock kept ticking and ticking), then months later, they ended up buying half of the company's assets. By then the stock fell from 9 to 4 and went down from there to 2 and 1, now 65 cents. ac is in the same poisition as wba, although obviously a much worse situation for the airline industry.
