Spin offLet's play along with the buy-out scenario. If BNC is interested to that, it will make it a lot easier for them to first spin off the human health division into another company and then sell it off.
What happens to us the share-holders of BNC? At this point, since there is no data on Urocidin, there is no value on it.How much would they assign the current stock price to the human health? What would we get? Are we left with holding an animal health company with $1.40-$1.50 per share? As share-holders, will we give away our den egg for nothing and end up holding a rotten egg? That's a worrisome scenario, IMO.
Those who are knowledgeable about the share-holders' rights, please enlighten us on this. What happened during BNC last spin off of the human division? Thanks.
