That was a rhetorical statement.
With approval in hand, why would Canada meat industry not adopt the vaccine right away to protect its citizen. Why does the government not mandate or make some strong recommendation for the vaccine even after they have invested millions in the plant? ...........They are sitting there, waiting to see what the U.S. would do first.
Is it really only a matter of $? The potential $ risk of recalls and loss of market share, without even mentioning the human cost, should out-weigh the cost of vaccination. The real reason,I think, is they want to make sure the U.S. is not going to reject vaccinated meat. JMHO.
