"Canada imports in excess of $125 mils

"Canada imports in excess of $125 mils of Veterinary Biologics from the U.S. annually representing a risk in the event that the supply chain becomes disrupted. The new center could be made available for the production of a variety of vaccines as national needs arise."

That's $125 mils of ready market annually once the vaccine plant is certified! Why use it as an emergency production center as the supply chain is disrupted? Take over the production. Stop importing from the U.S.

Or play this card: Now we have the capacity to produce these imported vaccines. Leverage this capability. If the USDA continues to play games in delaying the approval of Econiche, we will start making our own vaccines and take away the $125 mils of vaccines business from the U.S. That will make them think twice! The Canadian government trade commision should get involved with the negotiation. It's a win-win situation for Canada. We either get the Econiche approval or we retain the $125 mils of import revenue.

I have been writing emails to Jennifer to stress this point. We have a readily available source of income and a leveraging weapon. BNC should use it.
