Sin Susto A large part of my practice is Temporo-mandibular Disorders (chronic headache, jaw pain head and neck pain) Stress is a big contributory factor. With the modern computer age, short deadlines and the rampant right-now mentality, stress is getting stronger. We are constantly searching for a calming agent that will not make patients drowsy, affect their motor function and most importantly, not habit forming and additive. Valium and Ativan is the drug of choice now, but they are habit forming and liable for abuse on the street.
So if Sin Susto proves to be effective for human. I think it would be a big hit. It would be tricky to convine MD to use a drug marketed as a doggy drug on their patients though. They need to change the name and say somehting like it is a cousin or something.
